MOESIA INFERIOR, Marcianopolis. Severus Alexander, with Julia Maesa. AD 222-235. Æ Pentassarion (27mm, 13.04 g, 6h). Tib. Julius Festus, legatus consularis. Struck AD 225-229. Confronted busts of Alexander right, laureate, draped, and cuirassed, and Maesa left, draped and wearing stephane / Apollo standing facing, head right, placing right hand on head and holding bow in left; E (mark of value) and quiver to left; to right, serpent entwined around tree stump. H&J 6.33.7.2 (R6). VF, dark green patina.
